The Reynolds' Schenectady Tax Service is a small, family-run tax preparation shop. It is run by Leo Reynolds and his daughter, Lisa Reynolds. Both have passed the Enrolled Agent's examination and have decades of experience. Carol Matos has been working with us at least 20 years. Stephanie Long, Leo's right hand "man," prepares returns. Our front desk is staffed by the very pleasant Terese Crisafuli. We all take pride in being efficient and professional. Our goal is to make tax preparation easy for you.
Leo Reynolds, with partner Fred Elliott, opened The Schenectady Tax Service at 505 State Street, Schenectady in 1968. We have some clients that still remember our first office. The business moved four times, but remained on State Street. Although the original partners parted ways in 1983, each occupied 277 State Street - the State Theater Arcade aka Wedgeway Building, located on the corner of State and Erie, until 2011. In 2001, Leo invited his daughter, Lisa, to join him as a partner in the tax business. Lisa was surprised to learn that she had inherited the "tax gene," but she has. Reynolds' Schenectady Tax Service is now located at 406 Union Street, still in Schenectady. We plan to remain at this location for a long time.
