Reynolds Tax Service is a small, family-run tax preparation shop.  It is headed by Lisa Reynolds, who has been enrolled to practice before the IRS since 2003.  Stephanie Long and Lisa Omicinski also prepare returns.  Our front desk is managed by the very pleasant Therese Crisafulli.  We all take pride in being efficient and professional.  Our goal is to make tax preparation as easy as possible for you.

History

Leo Reynolds, with partner Fred Eliot, opened The Schenectady Tax Service at 505 State Street, Schenectady in 1968. Some of our clients still remember that first office. The business moved to four different buildings on State Street. Although the original partners parted ways in 1983, each occupied 277 State Street - the State Theater Arcade in the Wedgeway Building - located on the corner of State and Erie. In 2001, Leo invited his daughter, Lisa, to join him as a partner in the tax business. Reynolds' Tax Service is now located at 406 Union Street, still in downtown Schenectady.  We plan to remain at this location for a long time. Leo retired at age 87 in 2017. He lets Lisa prepare his taxes.
